GPRS

GRPS or General Packet Radio Service is a way of connecting to the internet (See WAP). GPRS is faster than WAP and is sometimes refered to as 'broadband' for the mobile phone. |
JAVA

Java is a programming language used to write programs for mobile phones and applications for the internet. More information is available from Java.com. |
Operating System

|
The Operating System is the main program of many 'smart' phones. The operating system allows the use of different features of the phone to be used by the software. |
PAYG
|
|
PAYG (or Pay As You Go) is a way a of paying for your phone bill. In this case, you pay for the phone calls in advance of making the calls, and when you run out, you use your top-up card to 'fill up' again with credit. |
Pay Monthly
|

Pay Monthly is the alternative to PAYG. The bill for the previous months phone calls is payable at the end of the month |

WAP
|
|
WAP (or Wireless Access Protocol) is a means of accessing the internet from your mobile phone. |
